Who am I?

I am a manual therapist and osteopath in Valencia, and this is my story.

“Delving into the inner workings of things has fascinated me since I was very young. My desire to understand the individual human being, and to decipher, as far as possible, what constitutes and motivates them, has only deepened with the passing of time.

My innate curiosity, my love of sport and of kinaesthesia (the awareness of movement and body tone) turned me into a lover of philosophy, a tireless practitioner of outdoor sport and a passionate martial artist, seen as a path to self-control and psychophysical development.

About sixteen years ago, I began my academic and professional training as a manual therapist. I studied Technical Massage Therapy, but it left me wanting more. I was searching for a deeper understanding of the subject matter of my professional work. This search for a broader, more complete vision of our make-up as human beings, and of the biomechanical and cognitive laws that govern it, led me to study other disciplines that would complete my technical training, such as Integral Osteopathy, Applied Kinesiology and Posturology.

It was thanks to these disciplines, together with massage therapy, that I was able to help people of different ages, conditions and professions, as well as dancers and athletes from many countries and nationalities.

But my innate curiosity kept driving me to explore other dimensions of the human being. I wanted to go beyond the purely physical plane and better understand people: why we are the way we are, and what motivates the Self in its behaviour and actions.

That is how I came to study personality in depth and in practice, training as a coach specialising in the Enneagram. This allowed me to better understand the influence of the mind and of human experiences on the body, and on our cognitive and emotional dimensions.

That is why my work focuses on helping people to inhabit their bodies with greater awareness and freedom, guiding each session towards restoring harmony between structure, function and emotion. I believe in conscious touch, in listening, and in the body’s natural ability to return to balance when it is given the space and attention it needs.”
